Formed in the reputable music town of Ithaca NY, Revision is a funk/rock band made up of three Ithaca College music grads. Having the instrumentation of Soulive coupled with the songwriting savvy of Wilco, their music grooves, rocks, and has a sincere live energy.

Devon Reehl (drums), Nick Bullock (guitar/vocals) and Jon Petronzio (keys/bass keys/vocals) began their musical journey by going out on a limb after receiving their college degrees. They bought a van (which they later converted to run on Vegetable Oil they collected on the road), signed on with a small booking agency, and soon were playing everywhere from Maine, to Atlanta, to Colorado and all points in between. Revision has played over 1000 live shows in 10 years touring with acts such as Derek Trucks, Soulive, Charlie Hunter, Michael Franti and Spearhead, and The Cat Empire.

In addition to a relentless live touring schedule, the band put out a steady stream of studio records working with producers such as Matthew Ellard (Elliot Smith, The Slip, Billy Bragg and Wilco), and Alan Evans (Soulive). They've recorded over 70 original studio tracks and recently released the official REVISION Digital Box Set.

The wide range of genres they've recorded has gotten their music featured on shows such as ESPN Baseball Tonight, TNT's "Dark Blue", and several independent films.

The band is currently on an indefinite hiatus from touring while working on other projects and promoting their most recent release "Ricochet".

Press Quotes

"Warning - contains adult chords and explicit rhythms"
-TuneReview

"Some jam bands tend to boil; the music is hot and steamy but often a bit mushy. Revision fries its stuff, baby, and the packed crowd got it hot, crispy, greasy, and in their face."
-City News, Rochester NY

"Revision has grooves that could even make the right wing loosen up a little."
